Is ealaíontóir ilmheán í Kim Sharley, ag cruthú i réimsí éagsúla mar mhaisiúchán, beochan, potadóireacht agus meáin eile.. Ina cónaí ar chósta Iarthuaisceart Dhún na nGall, is é a grá don scéal go príomha a théann i bhfeidhm ar a saothar.

Kim Sharley is a multi-media artist, creating across illustration, animation, ceramics and other media. Living on the North West coast of Donegal, her work is primarily influenced by her love of story.

Inspired by stories shared by Brian Ó Fearraigh about his uncle Jimela, Kim Sharkey created seven silver spheres painted with watercolours that reflect the lore, nature, and prayers of Inis Bó Finne.

The collection includes:

  • Pan and Pan’s Hoof Prints (2 spheres): Echoing the myth of the devil as Pan, who left his mark on the island’s stone.

  • Bradán agus Rón (3 spheres): Celebrating the island’s salmon and seal, key to local storytelling.

  • Paidir Mhuintir Inis Bó Finne (2 spheres): Featuring a traditional island prayer—one sphere in Irish, one in English.
